Britney Spears' former spouses are sending their well wishes to the pop princess following her recent DUI arrest.

Sam Asghari, who was married to Spears from 2022 to 2024, called on the public to give his ex-wife privacy while she moves forward from the arrest. Asghari, who is Iranian, addressed speculation around Spears on Fox News while appearing on the network to discuss the ongoing military operations in Iran.

"My full attention has gone towards Iran at the moment and when it comes to people making mistakes, I understand that," the actor told Fox News. "I think everybody deserves privacy and I hope that the press has learned from the past, that they give her the privacy she needs."

Meanwhile, Kevin Federline, with whom Spears shares her two sons, commented on the "Lucky" singer's arrest through his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan. The lawyer told TMZ that Federline "hopes for the best" for Spears.

"If help is necessary, he hopes that she will neither resist it or those who are attempting to work with her," Kaplan said.

Spears was arrested on Wednesday after California Highway Patrol pulled her over for erratic driving. After failing field sobriety tests, she was booked and taken to the Ventura County Jail. Law enforcement sources shared that the "Toxic" crooner was suspected of being under the influence of a "combination of alcohol and drugs." She was released on Thursday morning and is expected to appear in court on May 4.

Following the incident, a spokesperson for Spears said her actions were "completely inexcusable." The rep said she was taking time to be with her children and that her loved ones were coming up with an "overdue needed plan to set her up for success for well being."

The representative continued: “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life."

While Spears was freed from her 13-year conservatorship in 2021, many have been concerned for her well being after she testified about the abuse, control, and medication she allegedly endured during the legal arrangement. On Friday, *Good Morning Britain* asked Spears' longtime friend and former personal assistant Sean Phillip if her loved ones have considered putting her into another conservatorship.

Phillip rejected the idea, saying people did not understand how those arrangements could "break you down." He also shared a text exchange he had with Spears after she was released from custody. Phillip said he received the star's permission to share her condition with the public. Phillip texted, "Are you okay?" and said Spears responded with, "I'm okay."

Phillip, who says his friendship with Spears spans over two decades, called for privacy and compassion when discussing her arrest.

"You have to imagine what she's going through all these times," Phillip said. "And it makes me feel bad when she has to endure public mistakes."
