Prepare for another round of action-packed fights as MobLandis back for season 2.
The Paramount+ crime drama — starring Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan — first premiered on March 30, 2025. The series follows two London-based rival crime families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons, and was renewed for a second season in June 2025.
Hardy returns for season 2 as Harry Da Souza, the Harrigan family’s “fixer,” alongside Mirren and Brosnan, who play the heads of the Harrigan family, Maeve and Conrad. Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon and Mandeep Dhillon, among others, also return for the next installment.

What will MobLand season 2 be about?

In season 2, the Harrigans will face rising rivals who threaten their criminal empire. Per a synopsis, “violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy.”
Season 1 saw the collapse of the Harrigan-Stevenson gang war. In the end, when Harry discovered the family lawyer, O’Hara Delaney (Lisa Dwan), was a rat working for the enemy mob boss Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell), he killed them both. He then got into a fight with his estranged wife, Jan Da Souza (Froggatt), who stabbed him, leaving his fate uncertain.
Meanwhile, Kevin Harrigan (Considine) declared himself the new king of the family’s criminal empire at the end of season 1. But in the season 2 trailer, his parents, Maeve and Conrad, are out of jail, setting the family up for a power struggle.
Who is in the cast of MobLand season 2?

Along with Hardy, Mirren, Brosnan and Considine, season 2 will feature returning stars Froggatt, Pulver, Boon, Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones. Along with the returning cast members, Johnny Flynn (Emma) and Ophelia Lovibond (Minx) will join for season 2.
Hardy told Parade in April 2025 that working with Brosnan and Mirren was “wonderful” and he “always admired” their work. “To be able to watch them do something I think they’re brilliant in and to be part of that experience is fantastic,” he said. “They’re great, brilliant actors. Super talented, and they’ve done so much great work. It’s an absolute joy to be able to work with Pierce and Helen.”

Amid May 2026 reports that Hardy would not return for a potential season 3, Mirren told Variety about her experience working with the actor. “Tom is a very special person. I think he’s absolutely remarkable. My support of him is genuine and heartfelt,” she said.
Hardy has since been confirmed for a third season, per Deadline.
Is there a trailer for MobLand season 2?
Harry is alive and well in the trailer for season 2, which dropped on Aug. 13. In the clips, Harry warns Conrad and Maeve that their family is “in a death spiral” and a war has already begun. Scenes of thrown punches, money being counted and sneaky meetings showcase the chaos to come.
The trailer ends with Conrad telling adversaries that he’ll “give you a war” and screaming, “We are the Harrigans! If you don’t know the name, Google us.”

The season will include 10 episodes, with new episodes airing weekly on Fridays through the finale on Nov. 20.
