Netflix announced that all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls will leave the platform in the US on June 30

The series will be available to stream on Prime Video starting July 1, 2026, for all subscribers

Gilmore Girls gained a new generation of fans after debuting on Netflix in 2014 following its original 2000-2007 run on television

While Netflix viewers will soon have to bid farewell to the beloved series Gilmore Girls, the show will have a new home.

On June 15, Netflix shared on X that the series is leaving the streaming platform at the end of the month. The streaming service wrote, "It's a show? It's a lifestyle. It's a religion. We are sorry to say that Gilmore Girls Seasons 1-7 will be leaving Netflix in the US on June 30. Raising a cup of coffee to every fan who visited Stars Hollow with us."

The series — also available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu — will soon head to Prime Video, where episodes will be available to stream for all Prime Video subscribers from July 1, 2026, per Entertainment Weekly.
