Former President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, recently took aim at Donald Trump during a podcast interview. He took sharp jabs at the president over a reported security incident involving an airport catering truck and also took a direct dig at his work relationship with White House aide Natalie Harp.
Hunter Biden Slams Donald Trump
During the podcast interview, Hunter Biden openly mocked the tough image associated with Trump and his movement. “All of the thing where they talk about like he’s such a man, and he’s that and everything, is that my dad,” Hunter said.
When the interviewer interrupted to clarify, asking, “Trump?”, Hunter immediately answered, “Yes and the MAGA guys”.
He then went on to highlight how his father went to dangerous areas when he was in office. “My dad at 81 years old, secretly, secretly got on a military aircraft, went to Ukraine, to the border of Ukraine, took a train for 16 hours to Kyiv– and when they were dropping bombs on Kyiv, as the first President of the United States to go into an active war zone,” Hunter stated, recalling Joe Biden’s 2023 trip.
Bringing Donald Trump into the comparison, Hunter delivered a harsh jab. “And Donald Trump fits his fat a** into a food cart truck and brings his work wife with him instead of the guy that carries nuclear codes,” he added, poking fun at reports that Trump used an airport food vehicle during a covert security move in Turkey while accompanied by aide Natalie Harp, per American Bazaar.
Netizens React to Hunter Biden’s Comments On Trump
After the clip went viral on social media platform X, users quickly chimed in with their reactions to Hunter’s statements regarding the catering truck episode and Trump’s closeness with his aide Natalie Harp.
Calling out Hunter’s history, one user wrote, “This is why crack is bad. As president, Donald Trump visited active combat/war zones in 2018 and 2019—years before Joe Biden’s first such presidential visit in 2023.”

Talking about how Joe Biden’s trip was framed, another commenter remarked, “Here, let me help fix the details. 1. Rode in military aircraft outfit for a dignitary. 2. Fully equipped VIP train. It’s not like he sat in the bench seats of a C-17 then got on a military ground transit. Let’s not make this more than it is.”
Another slammed Hunter, correcting his facts, writing, “BTW Abraham Lincoln was the 1st U.S. President in a war zone. On July 12, 1864, while standing atop a dirt parapet at Fort Stevens in Washington, D.C., a Confederate sniper fired a shot that narrowly missed him.”
Slamming Trump, a user wrote, “The less time he spends with the nuclear codes, the better off 7 billion people are.”
Taking a jibe at Hunter and Joe Biden, one MAGA user noted, “To be clear, his dad had to be escorted on and off the stage because he would get lost between the stairs and the podium.”
One more wrote, “Hunter’s upset there isn’t any generational wealth for him to mooch off like he’s done his whole life. He is millions in debt and is basically unemployable. So he makes the rounds complaining about people who are successful.”
