Karlie Kloss says her real-life experiences would make excellent fodder for the Netflix show Nobody Wants This.

Speaking with journalist Emily Chang for her Bloomberg Originals series, The Circuit, the supermodel turned media mogul opened up about her decision to convert to Judaism before marrying her husband of over seven years, Joshua Kushner.

During her sit-down with Chang, the journalist inquired about whether Kloss, 33, has experienced “any Kristen BellNobody Wants This moments,” referring to the series' central storyline: the unlikely romance between Bell's agnostic podcaster Joanne and rabbi Noah, played by Adam Brody.

Kloss confirmed that she not only has had some of these "moments," but has shared them with series creator Erin Foster. “Oh my gosh,” she replied. “My friend's actually the writer of the show and I texted her and I was like, ‘Girl, for season 2, 3, 4, I got more material for you,' you know, like, ‘Call me.' ”

Kloss and Kushner, 41, got engaged in 2018 after six years of dating. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Kloss converted to Judaism in early June 2018, before the pair got engaged.

“She's never been one to make decisions lightly,” the source said of Kloss. “She spends a lot of time reflecting and learning.”

The Bedford Media founder and CEO — who tied the knot with Kushner later that year, in October — shared a similar sentiment on The Circuit.

“I fell in love with somebody whose faith was a huge part of who he is, and I knew that from the start,” she said of Kushner. “And choosing that I wanted it in my life. I'm really proud of that choice.”

Opening up about the decision in 2019 after saying “I do,” Kloss told British Vogue that embracing Shabbat, Judaism's weekly day of rest that lasts from sunset Friday to nightfall on Saturday, has added "so much meaning” to her life.

“I think we all have a tendency to just keep going,” she told the magazine at the time. “Some people find grounding through meditation. Some find it through exercise. And to each their own, but for me, Shabbat has brought so much meaning into my life. It helps me reconnect to the actual world.”

Elaborating further on her choice to convert before marrying Kushner, with whom she now shares three children, Kloss also told British Vogue, “It wasn't enough to just love Josh and make this decision for him,” she said.

“This is my life and I am an independent, strong woman,” she continued. “It was only after many years of studying and talking with my family and friends and soul searching that I made the decision to fully embrace Judaism in my life and start planning for a future with the man I chose to marry.”

Nobody Wants This creator Foster, 43, and Kloss are longtime friends. They were pictured at public events together as early as 2017.

The first season of Nobody Wants This, which was inspired by creator Foster's real-life love story with husband Simon Tikhman, debuted on Netflix in 2024. The show's second season — which Foster previously clarified to PEOPLE is "definitely not" inspired by true events in her life — premiered the following fall.

The series was officially renewed for a third season, which wrapped filming in May.
