First lady Melania Trump was spotted stepping away from President Donald Trump's side before his aide, Natalie Harp, approached to have a word with him.

Speculation surrounding the president's close working relationship with Harp, who was caught writing staggering 'lovesick' letters to Trump, has intensified following Democrat Jon Ossoff's pointed criticism of Trump, which specifically mentioned her by name, triggering sharp responses from the White House. It comes after a young blonde Trump aide was blamed for an ‘unhinged’ Truth Social posting spree.

Personal correspondence from Harp to the president, obtained by the Daily Beast, has recently circulated widely online. The letters reveal Harp's deep emotional connection to the president, including one where she refers to him as her "guardian and protector."
In that same 2023 letter, she expressed, "I never want to bring you anything but joy. I'm sorry I lost my focus. You are all that matters to me. I don't want to ever let you down. Thank you for being my Guardian and Protector in this Life," reports the Irish Star.

The Georgia Democrat claimed that Trump "doesn't want to do the job" of president. Ossoff went on to say, "He wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie."

In a separate letter, Harp reflected fondly on their relationship during her time as a host on the conservative One America News Network. "I miss the days when you used to call, during my talkshow days, and we'd talk about everything and nothing," Harp wrote.
"I want to get back to that synergy. We shouldn't have to talk about work all the time! !".
In the same correspondence, Harp continued, "And please, when I fail, will you tell me? You have the absolute right to cuss me out, if need be, when I deserve it, because no one knows or cares about me more."
Today's spectacle showcased an IndyCar Grand Prix race held at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
The two-day motorsports extravaganza, marking America's 250th birthday, wrapped up today with a climactic race at the National Mall. "This is a one-time-only event, because we're celebrating the country's 250th one time," explained event chair Bud Denker, president of Penske Corp., in an interview with NPR.
The competition marked the 15th of 18 total races scheduled this year within IndyCar's season. The racing circuit winds directly past iconic sites, including the National Archives Building, the National Gallery of Art, and three Smithsonian institutions: Air and Space, American Indian, and American History.
