The White Party is back.

Michael Rubin spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about the return of his famed Fourth of July White Party in the Hamptons, and addressed speculation that he moved it up this year due to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rumored wedding date.

"We were debating the dates. We were certainly aware of that date, but we didn't change it because of that date," Rubin, 53, told PEOPLE exclusively two weeks before Swift and Kelce's nuptials are rumored to take place during Fourth of July weekend.

He added, "But we were aware of that date and we didn't want to have people have to choose."

This year, Rubin's White Party is set for Wednesday, July 1. While it's not actually on Independence Day this year, the Fanatics founder and CEO assures the stars will come out to his exclusive, all-night event regardless.

"People come to the White Party no matter when we do it... The White Party is going to be spectacular," he made clear of his Hamptons soirée, which has actually only been held on the actual holiday once since the tradition began in 2021.

However, the invite-only gathering has always been held during Fourth of July weekend at his Bridgehampton estate, bringing together the biggest names across the sports and entertainment worlds.

The White Party guest list in 2024 included stars like Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, Kim Kardashian and her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, and athletes like Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Odell Beckham Jr., Joe Burrow and Derek Jeter.

As for whether Swift and Kelce's wedding or Rubin's White Party will have the most star-studded party of the summer, the Fanatics executive knows one thing for sure.

"I'll tell you one thing. I think the stars are going to be in New York from July 1 till July 19. New York's never seen anything like this," he said before listing all the major events happening during that stretch of time.

"You've got the White Party, the best party in the world, followed by [Swift's] wedding a few days later, followed by Fanatics Fest. Oh, and this little thing called the World Cup, which has the finale here in New York... You've got the ESPY Awards that moved to the night before Fanatics Fest."

New York is promising to be a sports-entertainment mecca in the first half of July. Rubin is responsible for a large part of that due to the return of his Fanatics Fest, which kicks off its third annual installment at the Jacob Javits Center from Thursday, July 16 to Sunday, July 19.

"What's going to make this year so special is it's in the middle of the World Cup Final. You have the biggest stars in the world descending to Fanatics Fest... it's just going to be absolutely spectacular," said Rubin, who notes the World Cup Finals presser will also be held at the Javits Center during Fanatics Fest.

"We'll have the two captains two days before they're going to play in the biggest match of their lives," he added. "If it's a repeat of 2022, you'd have the coach and team captain. In that case, you'd have [Kylian] Mbappé and [Lionel] Messi at Fanatics Fest with tens of thousands of fans going crazy."

To level up Fanatics Fest this year, the New York Knicks will be in attendance following their 2026 NBA Finals win over the San Antonio Spurs, where they secured the championship title for the first time in 53 years.

Plus, Serena Williams will make her Fanatics Fest debut to face off against some of the biggest names in sports — including Tom Brady, Novak Djokovic, John Cena, Rob Gronkowski, Cam Skattebo, Jordan Chiles, Jaxson Dart, among other stars — in the Fanatics Games.
