Buffalo Bills wide receiver DJ Moore bought out all of the t-shirt jerseys with his name and number at a local Buffalo mall
Moore told the assistant manager at Tee Shirt University to give away each of the shirts for free to fans

The Buffalo Bills' new wide receiver DJ Moore is already making headlines in the community.
Moore, 29, who was traded from the Chicago Bears to the Bills in March, made local news in Buffalo after a recent outing at a local mall. According to WKBW, the newest Bill was apparently shopping at the Walden Galleria in Buffalo when he saw a display of T-shirts with his name and number at a store called Tee Shirt University.
Moore purchased all 27 of the shirts the store had and told Tee Shirt University assistant manager Scot Marshall to give them away to fans for free. The total of all the shirts cost $1,200, per WKBW, and a tag was placed on each shirt to note that it was paid for by the Bills player.
Marshall told WKBW that when he told Moore the price of all of the shirts, Moore said, "I'm buying it." The assistant manager recalled asking Moore if he knows Moore or works for him, and Moore said, "Yeah I work for him."

Moore was "kind of joking around" during the interaction, Marshall told WKBW.
"So he buys them, he goes, 'I'm going to leave them all here, if anybody comes and they want one, just tell them, DJ Moore bought it for them,' " Marshall said. "And then he walks out the door, and he pokes his head back in and goes, 'Yeah, it's me.'"

"And he just walks away, and it was a very nice thing that he did," Marshall told the Buffalo news station, adding that Moore's gesture "means a lot" to him and the community.
"It shows he cares. He's loving the community so far, so yeah, he's just a very nice guy and that's the kind of athlete we usually get in the city," Marshall said.
According to WKBW, only two shirts remained in the store as of Tuesday, June 30.
One fan whose son got one of Moore's shirts responded to WKBW on X, writing, "My son was thrilled we randomly stumbled on this! Was his bday too." Moore reposted the photo on X showing the young fan excitedly holding up his new merch.
"I love DJ Moore. Buffalo got a good one," a fan account dedicated to Bears quarterback Caleb Williams replied.
Moore was traded, along with a 2026 fifth-round pick, from the Bears to the Bills in exchange for a 2026 second-round selection.
