Taylor Swift’s reported wedding date has already started moving the celebrity calendar, according to a new claim. The pop superstar’s alleged July weekend wedding to Travis Kelce now appears to affect another A-list event.

That event was Fanatics’ boss and CEO, Billionaire Michael Rubin’s famous Hamptons holiday party. A new report claimed Rubin moved the bash to July 1. The reason was simple, per the claim. He reportedly wanted no clash with Swift’s expected New York wedding, called the “party of the year.”

As per Page Six’s report, Michael Rubin shifted this year’s party to July 1. His usual July 4 party at his Bridgehampton home has become a summer power stop. The outlet said the move came after it reported Taylor Swift’s wedding would happen in New York. It said Rubin moved the bash so it “doesn’t clash.” Reps for Rubin “didn’t get back,” the report added.

Meanwhile, the Fanatics founder’s holiday bash already carried major celebrity weight. Past guests reportedly included Drake, Beyoncé, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Kim Kardashian, Jay-Z, and Camila Cabello. Therefore, the date change mattered beyond one private party. Page Six described Rubin’s event as a “show-stopping July 4 party.” It is also called the invite list, the “starriest guest list.” However, the same report questioned the motive. It was unclear whether he avoided sharing attention or losing guests to the wedding date. Either way, Fanatics and Rubin entered the Swift-Kelce wedding news cycle.

Finally, the report linked the scheduling move to Taylor Swift’s own July 4 history. The “Shake It Off” singer previously hosted holiday parties at her Rhode Island home. Her guest circle then included Blake Lively, the Haim sisters, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, and Karlie Kloss. The current wedding details remained limited.

Page Six said the ceremony was set for New York. It was not clear whether that meant the city or somewhere farther east. Still, Rubin’s rescheduled party showed the reported wedding date had become a logistical factor. For now, Swift had not publicly expanded on the wedding plans.
