Tootsie Roll is unveiling two new candy varieties — and one was inspired by a request from fans.
On April 20, the brand shared a video on its Instagram account announcing the Fruit Ones, a new pack of Tootsie Pops, which it said are “finally filled with fruity, chewy centers.”
“You asked, we listened,” reads text on the video, which then cuts to a social media message from a customer asking, “Can we put the fruit Tootsie rolls in the Tootsie roll pops?”
The video then shows the monocle-wearing emoji with a voice saying, “Hmm,” followed by another emoji giving the thumbs up.
“Yessss we need these😍😍😍😍,” one commenter wrote, while another added, “This is the best day of my life.”
On April 22, the brand posted an announcement revealing another new product.
The Berry Ones is a pack of Tootsie Rolls in the flavors Strawberry, Cherry Berry, Blueberry, and Blue Raspberry.

“Oh my goodness!!! These sound lovely! You're coming up with so many fun new products! 🎉,” read one comment, while someone else noted, “No this is my dream.”
Both new candy packs are currently available at select Walmart locations.
Last fall, the brand gave fans another treat when it refreshed its classic ad in which a child asks Mr. Owl how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop with animations and a new voiceover.
The new Tootsie Roll products aren’t the only colorful candy release announced recently.
M&M'S just revealed a limited-edition All Cerulean pack inspired by Miranda Priestly’s cerulean monologue in The Devil Wears Prada in honor of the movie’s sequel.
The blue candy will be available for free in limited quantities starting May 1 at 11 a.m. ET on MMS.com.
